Comments: The largest and most impressive mountain range on the Moon, the 350 mile long Apennine's rise to 18,500ft at Mt. Huygens. Those familiar with California topography will notice that this
mountain range is very similar to the mighty Sierra Nevada... a steep abrupt escarpment on one side yet gently rolling on the other.
