Subject: A 190° panorama image taken from the 5900ft summit of Garnet Peak. Garnet Peak is located on the crest of the Laguna Mountains east of San Diego, California. This easterly view looks out over the rugged landscape of the Anza-Borrego desert, 3900ft below, with the Salton Sea and Mexico's Laguna Salada forming the distant horizon. One of the highest summits in the Laguna Mountains, 6271ft Monument Peak, can be seen on the far right of the image.
Processing: Five separate negatives were scanned then aligned in Photoshop to create the final image.
