Comments: While blurred by trailing, the open cluster M41 with the faint reddish glow of the Rosette Nebula and Barnard's Loop can be seen in the photograph. Also note the orangish glow on the horizon caused by lights on Nantucket Island, 27 miles distant. The light from the star Sirius can also be seen reflecting in the calm waters, left of center.
